Indian companies in liquidation
Type a company name. 5,458 companies in liquidation, from the public announcements published by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India.
Liquidator of a company listed here? Its internal data may still have value — see the data of an Indian company in liquidation. Or a dated record report.
What this is
Under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, the start of a liquidation is announced publicly so that creditors can file their claims. This site lists the companies for which such an announcement was published — liquidations ordered after an insolvency process, and voluntary liquidations of solvent companies — with the date of the latest announcement.
Who uses it
- Creditors and suppliers — is this company being liquidated, and since when?
- Former employees and customers — what became of a company I dealt with?
- Still in an insolvency resolution process? — see Indian companies in an insolvency resolution process.
What it is not
Not the IBBI, not the National Company Law Tribunal, and not a certificate. A voluntary liquidation is the closing of a solvent company. The announcements kept here start in 2017, the first full year of the Code. The public announcement gives no headcount: being listed here says nothing about a company's size. This site shows the latest announcement only; for the full record, use the announcement on the IBBI website.
